The artists leave their homes, where reactions and interactions are often familiar and defined.
They come together in a foreign city, where they themselves are the others, simultaneously being in the city,
as well as apart from it due to their position as foreigners.

More Roni Horn



I've always loved the simplicity of Roni Horns work...I kind of envy it actually. I like the consideration of water because I live on an Island and am constantly reminded of the sea...most cities are built beside water sources, Bucharest is situated on the banks of the Dâmbovița River, which flows into the ArgeșRiver, a tributary of the Danube...this is where we travel to.
